GSC Power-Division 40/60 Center Differential for Mitsubishi Evolution 5SPD #16737

The GSC Power-Division 40/60 diff is located in the transmission and is used to transfer power between the front wheels and the transfer case (which sends power to the rear wheels). This unit is designed with the road racer in mind, but can be used for drag racing just as well. The power capacity of the GSC 40/60 Diff is greater than the stock unit so high horsepower cars will gain reliability in their drive train. This unit is not located in the transfer case so it is not a replacement for a broken set of spider gears. Installation is not for the novice as the transmission has to be separated to install this diff. It is also recommended to purchase new OEM bearings, a new Speedo gear and ring gear bolts, as these items tend to be damaged when trying to remove them from the factory unit.
